Thoughts and achievements of King Sejong, the greatest ruler in five thousand years of Korean history
King Sejong the Great was a ruler of great importance in Korean history. As a monarch he embodied the highest ideals of leadership, and under his reign Korea enjoyed great prosperity and progress. A scientific dictionary, published in Japan in 1983, records that twenty-nine of the world's scientific achievements
in the early 15th century were made in Korea, compared with five in China, and twenty six in the rest of the world.
Sejong's care and attention extended to every member of his kingdom, and it was in this spirit that his advances in medicine, printing, astronomy, agriculture, and the legal system were made. For this reason, he is the only king to have been awarded the title 'Great' by the Korean people, and occupies a special place in the minds of his countrymen today. |

Note: Trackable and fast. This is the courier service of the Korean postal service.

In case a computer inquiry is not possible, a quick inquiry by fax or post is available for reference upon the user's request.
