Description
One of the longest running franchises in Korean film history, Marrying the Mafia is back for its 10th anniversary with its fifth film! While the series shifted its attention to another family for the middle three installments, the fifth Marrying the Mafia film brings back the characters of the first film for another hilarious story about the Jang Family. Producer-writer Jung Tae Wong and director Jeong Yong Ki (from the second and third installments) return along with original stars Jung Joon Ho, Yoo Dong Geun, Sung Dong Il and Park Keun Hyung as former gangsters trying to live an honest life. Pop idols Yoon Doo Jun of BEAST, Hwang Kwang Hee of ZE:A and Son Na Eun of APink also make their film debuts in Marrying the Mafia 5.
Ten years have passed since the events of Marrying the Mafia. The Jang Family – namely the infamous Three J's (Yoo Dong Geun, Sung Dong Il and Park Keun Hyung) – have quit the gangster world and started a successful construction firm. However, anyone who's been in the underworld never truly stays out, as trouble from the Jang's old world arrives on their doorsteps. Will the Jangs be able to stay away, or is a new gangster war about to break out?
