Description
To keep their sexual orientations a secret, a gay man and a lesbian woman decide to get married to each other. It seems like the perfect cover to get the parents and the nosy busybodies off their case, but juggling the fake marriage and their respective significant others isn't as easy as they expected – especially when parents show up unannounced and rumors begin to spread!
Two Weddings and a Funeral is the first feature film from Kim Jo Kwan Su, director of the gay shorts Just Friends? and Boy Meets Boy and one of Korea's few openly gay filmmakers. Like in his earlier short films, Two Weddings and a Funeral maintains a light tone as a queer romantic comedy about modern relationships, makeshift families and serendipitous love. Ryu Hyun Kyung (Petty Romance) and television actor Kim Dong Yoon (Dong Yi) star as the married couple, while Jung Ae Yeon (Lady Daddy) and musical actor Song Yong Jin co-star as their lovers.
