Based on a comic by Kang Pool, The Neighbors spins a tense character-driven thriller from a devastating crime. Kim Yoon Jin leads the ensemble cast as the guilt-ridden mother haunted by the death of her stepdaughter, played by child actress Kim Sae Ron (The Man From Nowhere) in dual roles. Kim Sung Kyun follows Nameless Gangsters with another memorable performance as the killer, which earned him a Best New Actor win at the 49th Daejong Awards. Cheon Ho Jin, Jang Young Nam, Do Ji Han, Ma Dong Seok and Lim Ha Ryong make up the rest of The Neighbors. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Kim Whee, whose writing credits include Haeundae and Midnight FM.
